Words Unspoken by Elizabeth Musser

Another wonderful novel by Musser!  She weaves a story with several seemingly unrelated characters but shows how God is in and working through all our lives in ways we can't fathom... 'Life is not Random'.  Words Unspoken speaks to all the things we think, struggle with and wish we could or would say but often don't.  It touches on the struggles of the flesh with depression, loss, greed, pride... How we handle the hand we have been dealt and how our choices have consequences and impacts we can not imagine, not just for our own lives but for others.

The message speaks to us of going deeper, of trusting and believing ... of loving and living beyond ourselves.  Grab this one and be prepared to get pulled in to the story, the characters and the mystery of how it will all come together.

The Sweetest Thing by Elizabeth Musser

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!  Musser has found a new fan in me.  In The Sweetest Thing, Musser takes us back to Atlanta in the 1930's with a story weaved with so many beautiful threads - friendship, relationships, loss, grieving, change, maturing, blessings, gifts, forgiveness, grace, romance, hope, mystery and faith.  There are so many reasons I can recommend this book to you sufice it to say, this is a book to read!  You won't be sorry and you will find it hard to put down.

The Messenger by Siri Mitchell

Mitchell has another winner in her latest novel, The Messenger.  Step into a story of intrigue, with hints of suspense, romance and much more.  Our heroine is Hannah, a Quaker caught up in the struggle of doing what is right and where her heart leads her against what her peers believe she should do.  Who is she really? What does she really believe? And how far will she let her beliefs and convictions carry her? She is asked to become a Colonial spy... risking not only her physical life but also the life she knows and loves as a 'Friend'.

This is one to pick up!

The 'Ashley Stockingdale Series' by Kristin Billerbeck

~What A Girl Wants (Book 1)
~She's Out of Control (Book 2)
~With This Ring, I'm Confused (Book 3)

Overall, I found these books to be very enjoyable reads.  Many of you may be endeared by Ashley Stockingdale,  I found she annoyed me at times but nonetheless I really liked the stories!

I found them humorous, interesting and I wish I could remember more but it has been several weeks since I read them - sorry!  If you are looking for something light and fun to read this is it!

Too Good To Be True by Trish Perry

Too Good To Be True is the follow-up to Perry's The Guy I'm Not Dating (which I read about a year ago).  I do believe I enjoyed this one more than the first. If your looking for an enjoyable read pick it up.

The Swan House by Elizabeth Musser

A friend loaned me this book to read and am I ever so glad she did! I laughed, I cried, I was inspired and challenged... This is one to buy and share! Most of the story is set in the early 60's in two different areas of Atlanta, GA. Musser has written a captivating story of life during that time period filled with so much depth and poignancy. The struggle of a young girl who loses her mother and is faced with many changes, truths and situations that propel her out of her comfort zone and send her seeking, questioning and finding what is most important.
