The Tutor's Daughter by Julie Klassen

From start to finish I loved this book!  Klassen has written a spellbinding, fantastic read that combines perfectly mystery, intrigue, drama, romance and captures a time and place in history.

Emma Smallwood is the Tutor's Daughter, who through circumstances finds herself joining her father on the Cornwall coast; where he has accepted a position to teach.  There is much more to the story, as he has previously taught the two older sons of this family in his boarding school.  From the time of their arrival there is mystery a foot, hints of danger and romance mingling throughout!  Emma will learn many things about herself, others and more importantly about God during her time there.

Be prepared to pick this one up and unable to put it down!  It left me with a smile upon my face and a gladness in my heart.

Secretly Smitten By Colleen Coble, Kristin Billerbeck, Diann Hunt, and Denise Hunter

The sequel to Smitten is a delight!  This novella collection contained the perfect combination of romance, camaraderie, mystery, humor, and characters that warm your heart and make you smile. Just the right book to take along on vacation or to curl up with on the couch for a lazy afternoon.
