Since childhood I have always loved to read. Ask my family and they would probably tell you how I always seemed to have a book in my hand or perhaps how my Mom would catch me up past my bedtime reading... Intrigue, suspense, romance, comedy, drama...
Over time what I love to read has (in some ways) changed... However the love of reading has never wavered. So here we are - my blog, Reading with Pleasure & Discernment (My Book List)… This blog is my way of sharing my love of books with you. I hope for you to come here and find a book to read or if you are not sure about reading a certain book/author to get some input either from me or the resources you can find on here. My other purpose for this blog is to hear from others, so please leave a comment! I am always looking for authors and books to read.
As the title of the blog states I am reading for & with pleasure & discernment... As such you will find that I read a variety of types of books: Spiritual guidance, Marriage, Parenting, Fiction, Non-fiction, etc. The types of books I read may vary in their subject matter but I aim to read books discerningly. In other words I try to not read books that will fill my mind with things that do not benefit me to think upon (Philippians 4:8).
I look forward to sharing and hearing from you!
