Maire (The Fires of Gleannmara, Book 1) by Linda Windsor

This is the first book I have read by Windsor but I plan on reading more! This is a delightful, imaginative and engrossing tale. Filled with drama, faith, history, action and romance, it is sure to keep the pages flying.

 I really enjoyed how Windsor took biblical tales and used them in the story. Bravo, on something not only entertaining but also thought provoking. To add to this tale she gives us a hero, who is not only swoon worthy, but even more his character, faith and love inspire.  The characters are well written and engaging.  This was one of those stories that when you have to put it down it lingers on your mind and has you eager to pick it back up again. I am only sad it is over ... but excited there are more books to read in this series and by this author!
