Love in the Balance (Ladies of Caldwell County, Book 2) by Regina Jennings

An enjoyable read, with a few twists that keep the pages turning to see how it will all work out! While at the beginning the story line did seem a little predictable, Jennings did something brave - she let us see our hero and heroine fall. Yes, we all make mistakes and there are usually consequences to our bad choices, but the good news is that God can redeem those as well. There is nothing God cannot do and no person who has fallen too far for Him to lovingly pick up. His love never fails.
