I have only two things that didn't thrill me... and one is a positive! First off, I didn't like that later in the story the angst was drawn out a little too long between the characters. I would have loved to see them get over their issues a little sooner and had a little bit more of them together without it in the way. That is not to say that it didn't have a good ending, it did, but that is just my personal opinion. Lastly, the book ended, as all good books do - ugh, but hey, cheer up Book 2 & three are already out! Yay!

Sixty Acres and a Bride (Ladies of Caldwell County, Book 1) by Regina Jennings
Regina Jennings' debut novel is a highly engaging and delightful retelling of the biblical account of Naomi, Ruth and Boaz. Jennings held me captive from the beginning, excited to see how she would draw their story out in this western tale and I was not disappointed! I loved the characters; both the main and secondary characters were well written, and I look forward to catching back up with them again in Books 2 & 3!
